Meet Manel Torres. This PhD student has created spray on clothing. What we love about the idea is the renewable nature of this invention - the spray material can be washed, recollected, and sprayed on as something new! Imagine buying 1 can of material but being able to make a new shirt today and a pair of pants tomorow. All without consuming additional natural resources, using fuel to transport the new clothing to market, etc. Spray on clothing takes reduce, reuse, and recycle to an extreme.
Of course we featured Torres’ Fabrican invention back in 2006 so we’re not quite sure why this idea is making it’s rounds again, but hey, now there’s a video:
We recently had the priviledge to photograph a innovative event. The Michigan Chapter of the International Interior Design Association held their Finish to Fashion show earlier this month. The show was intended to show off interior design fabrics and techniques, not in the showroom, but on the runway.
Teams competed for best design based on international cities. The event was a fantastic way to demonstrate the talents of these obviously multi-faceted designers! Check out some more pics from the event
Lady Gaga’s fashion taste may seem out of this world, but her recent release is a tad more grounded. Recently, the space-age diva developed a pair of earphones for both the fashion and music conscious. Called “Heartbeat,” we’re sure the headphones will live up to the Gaga name!

Expect a months supply to run about $120 and see full results in 2 to 4 months. Of course there are the potential side affects: 4 percent of users experience eye itching and redness, and it may also temporarily darken the skin of the eyelid, according to the manufacturer Allergan.
Here’s a BEFORE and then an AFTER pic. Impressive! Thanks tljA
