Cosmeceuticals go Pharmaceutical: Welcome Latisse !

LatisseHow can the commercials not suck you in! A prescription medicine for fuller and longer eyelashes? Sounds wonderful - welcome to my medicine cabinet Latisse!

Expect a months supply to run about $120 and see full results in 2 to 4 months. Of course there are the potential side affects: 4 percent of users experience eye itching and redness, and it may also temporarily darken the skin of the eyelid, according to the manufacturer Allergan.

Here’s a BEFORE and then an AFTER pic. Impressive! Thanks tljA

Ooh, sounds like Latisse is a bit pricey. I use Revitalash, which is about $100.00 (maybe less) for a 5-month supply. It took about 8-9 weeks to see a nocticable difference, but once I did, I was able to stop wearing mascara. I just curl and go—really quickens my morning routine. The risks of Latisse far outweigh the benefits in my mind. Has anyone actually tried it?

Hi Dakota! Like you, I have tried Revitalash. I chose it over Latisse because it has no side effects. True enough, there were none. After over two months of using it, I had longer and fuller lashes without problems!!!

I have seen advertisements for Latisse before but I have always been leary about the side effects for the product. For somebody who had really thin or short lashes it may be worth it though.
