Meet Manel Torres. This PhD student has created spray on clothing. What we love about the idea is the renewable nature of this invention - the spray material can be washed, recollected, and sprayed on as something new! Imagine buying 1 can of material but being able to make a new shirt today and a pair of pants tomorow. All without consuming additional natural resources, using fuel to transport the new clothing to market, etc. Spray on clothing takes reduce, reuse, and recycle to an extreme.

Of course we featured Torres’ Fabrican invention back in 2006 so we’re not quite sure why this idea is making it’s rounds again, but hey, now there’s a video:
